Who qualifies
You DO qualify if
- • You heat with an Enbridge natural gas furnace or boiler, or heat or cool electrically on the Ontario grid
- • Detached, semi-detached, row or town home, or a mobile home on a permanent foundation
- • You buy a new model from the program list and connect it to Wi-Fi
- • No income test, no energy assessment required
You do NOT qualify if
- • The model is not on the program list, or it is used or refurbished
- • You live in a condo or multi-unit building
- • You already had a smart thermostat rebate, discount or device from Enbridge, Save on Energy or Home Renovation Savings
- • You apply more than 60 days after buying (post-purchase path)

Gas furnace or boiler with Enbridge, or electric heating or cooling on the Ontario grid; a detached, semi, row or town home; and no previous smart thermostat rebate, discount or device from Enbridge, Save on Energy or Home Renovation Savings.

Request the $125 code and use it at The Home Depot in store, or online at Best Buy, Copeland Sensi, ecobee or Mysa.
Or after you buy: upload your receipt
Buy from any retailer and apply within 60 days. The receipt must show the purchase date, model, pre-tax price and retailer.
Install and connect to Wi-Fi
The thermostat must be installed, activated and online. Enbridge customers are credited on a future bill; electricity customers are paid by cheque or another IESO method.
Adding a thermostat to a heat pump install
The program lists heat pumps and smart thermostats as no-assessment upgrades you can do one or more of. The thermostat terms also say this rebate cannot be combined with another rebate under the program, so confirm before counting both.
