How Furnace Replacement Works
From your first call to a warm home, usually completed in one day.
We visit your home, inspect the existing system, and perform a heat load calculation. You receive a written quote before we leave. No obligation.
We walk you through Lennox, Goodman, and Carrier options at different efficiency levels. We'll explain the payback period for each upgrade so you can make an informed decision.
Most replacements are completed in a single day. Our two-person crew removes the old unit, installs the new furnace, and ensures heat is restored before they leave.
If your city requires a permit for the job, EcoFrost pulls it and books the inspection. We give you all documentation for your records and warranty file.
Brands We Install
We carry Lennox, Carrier, and Goodman, three of Canada's most trusted HVAC brands.
Ultra-quiet operation, variable-speed blower
Greenspeed technology, smart thermostat integration
Lifetime heat exchanger warranty on select models
Common Questions
Most replacements cost $2,800 to $4,500 installed for a single-stage 95-96% AFUE furnace, $4,500 to $7,000 for a two-stage unit, and $7,000 to $10,000 for a premium modulating unit. Price also depends on the size of your home. Prices include installation, any permit your city requires, and disposal of the old furnace. EcoFrost offers 0% financing for 6 months (via Financeit; standard rate applies after the promo period).
See furnace costs by home sizeNot for a like-for-like gas furnace replacement: Ontario's Home Renovation Savings program does not rebate gas furnaces in 2026. Adding a heat pump does qualify. In a gas-heated home, a hybrid system (a heat pump with the new furnace as backup) qualifies for up to $2,000, plus the smart thermostat rebate.
See what each install earns in rebatesWe complete most replacements in 4-6 hours. You'll have heat restored the same day. Whether a permit is needed depends on your city and the job, and we handle the application whenever one is.
Sizing is based on a heat load calculation considering your home's square footage, insulation, windows, and ceiling height. Oversizing is a common mistake. EcoFrost performs a full Manual J calculation on every estimate.

I was on the look for an hvac guy due to my old furnace being damaged by water. I was recommended to Nizar from a friend. He came and inspected the unit right away, and had new ready to go the following day! The install went smooth and got the new furnace up and running. His prices are also are very reasonable. I would recommend to anybody looking for hvac work done. Will be using them for future jobs.
