Is a heat pump water heater sensible in an Etobicoke basement?
In the right basement, yes. It extracts heat from the surrounding air, so it needs a reasonable volume of space and it will cool and dehumidify that space as a side effect. In a large unfinished basement that is a bonus in summer. In a small sealed utility closet it will struggle and it is the wrong choice. We look at the room before recommending it.

How long does installation take?
Two to three hours for a straight tank swap. Longer if a gas line or new electrical circuit is part of the job, and we tell you which at the estimate.
